Grapevine Texas Apartments The Ridge At Timberline Review

I lived at the Ridge at Timberline apartment for 2 years. They have also been called Ambassador Apartments  and have changed management multiple times. The apartments are very affordable and The thing I really liked was that the master bedroom was huge. I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment upstairs with my sister, and we really liked it there. A lot of the neighbors had lived there for 3 or more years, so it feels like everyone knows each other.  It is relatively quiet, but on the weekends there is a lot of traffic and finding a parking spot can be tough. There is a park that is connected to the apartments, but it’s kinda hidden  so I don’t know if a lot of people know about it, but it is very convenient if you have young children.  There are 2 pools, but I found that the one next to the office is usually packed, so my sister and I went to the other one. It was a pain living upstairs, and at the beginning we didn’t have a washer and dryer, so we had to keep going downstairs to do our laundry ad the laundry mat an sometimes it would take your money. The overall atmosphere was good and there are a lot of trees, and bridges, and things like that.  There are usually a lot of  squirrels around the trees and the creek looks nice when it rains. They do have a nice  gazebo for special events like birthday parties, and sometimes the neighbors will celebrate their kids birthdays and rent bounce houses, so that was cool.  The price is very affordable for living in grapevine, and the water bill was fair, so overall I would give these apartments a 4 star rating.

The main reason for this is that they started implementing parking stickers, and it is really annoying, especially when you have parties and friends come over and may spend the night. It is frustrating to get towed and have to pay $200 to get your car out, so I just don’t think its fair. Another  thing is that sometimes we would start getting bugs out of nowhere, and it kinda sucked. Also while I was living there they were fixing the roofs and there was a shingle that fell on my car’s windshield and they were never able to compensate me for it, which I thought was not cool. I still have friends that live there, I would say generally it is a younger crowd that lives there, and it is majorly a hispanic community.

Grapevine Courtyard Apartments / Country Oaks Review

Hands down these are the cheapest apartments you will find in Grapevine, that being said they are also the worst. I lived there when I was a kid, they were a little newer and they were called Country Oaks, and back then it was more family friendly, or maybe I just don’t remember all the bad stuff. Now only if  you’re a college kid trying to get through school, and you can’t afford much for rent that is the ONLY reason to live here. If you want a place to have a family, forget it! I lived there a whole year and overall was not happy with the place, but I was a college kid that didn’t really care about much. There are usually a lot of drunk people around, day or night, it doesn’t really matter. Also they do require parking stickers, and my friends got towed here multiple times.  I have friends, they come over for parties and may spend the night . . . only to find their car gone the next day! That absolutely sucked. Also when I moved in the carpet wasn’t very clean so I wonder if they even change them after someone moves out. I remember them shutting off our water a few times to make repairs, I guess something was always wrong with the pipes. I guess the main plus about living here is PRICE! So this really gets a 2 star, solely on price and convenience. As far as amenities, comfort, style, anything else like that, nope! Near the end, my sister moved in with me a couple of months, and I was glad to move to a better environment, because I didn’t want her around all the crazy stuff.

Grapevine Texas Apartments Review Colonial Village

Grapevine Texas Apartment Community

August 2011 Featured Property Colonial Village Apartments – Grapevine Texas

I have lived in the Colonial Village Apartments for about a year and a half now. I live in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment that I share with my son and my brother, and I love it. The living room has a lot of space, the kitchen is big, and the inside of my apartment is in really good shape. The reason why I really like living here is that the neighbors are very friendly and it is a good community with very little crime. My sister and another friend lives here, and they both really like it. The value of what you get for your money is really good, free cable, access to the gym and the pool, which comes in really handy during the summer heat :) The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is that sometimes when I get home late I can’t find parking, but that’s my fault for not paying for covered parking. Also the water bill is typically rather higher than other apartment complexes that I have lived in, that are in the same area. Overall I would say these apartments are a really good place to live and you get a lot for your money.

to rent can be an overwhelming and tiring process if you are new to the city. You may have to look through many different options, before you find a place that shows well compared to the others. You should remember that jus tbecause a place looks good, there is much more to it that meets the eye. Before you sign the dotted line and commit to an apartment you need to consider the following factors:

Average Rent Prices In Grapevine

The average rent price for a 1 bedroom apartment in grapevine is about $700.  If you have a family and are looking for a 2 bedroom  you can expect to pay around $850 for a good place. There are many apartment complexes and choosing the right one can mean a lot of savings.  When you are looking for an apartment to rent it is important that you know how much you can afford for rent and also how much you are willing to spend. It can be an unpleasant experience to find the perfect apartment, but having it be  way out of your price range. It is also important to know beforehand to find out what is included in your rent. A lot of apartment complexes in Grapevine require you to pay for water or trash service and other thins like that. I don’t believe there are many apartments in the area that are all bills paid kind of living. You should be well aware and understand exactly what you are paying for when you rent an apartment and what the extra costs will be.

Grapevine is a Good Neighborhood

When deciding on an apartment to rent  in Grapevine, Texas it is vital to evaluate the surrounding
area as much as the actual apartment. You should spend some time investigating the neighborhood before you rent an apartment, and get familiar with the community. Visit a park in the area and walk around it,rather than driving and try and speak to people who live there. Ask them how they like living there and if there are any problems or concerns they may have with crime or other problems in the community. This will help you know the area a little better before you make a commitment to rent a apartment in Grapevine. You should also try and find how far schools, parks, nightlife, shopping, etc are from the apartment you are planning to rent. Usually Grapevine is very close to Dallas and Fort Worth, as well as the DFW Airport. The Grapevine Mills Mall is a huge shopping center in Grapevine, as well as many other retail stores and restaurants. Another plus about living in Grapevine is the Grapevine Lake, there are many boat rental companies in the area, and it makes for a great time to spend outside with the family.

Amenities Available in Grapevine Apartments

When you rent an apartment in Grapevine you would certainly expect to get some amenities
that come with it. It is important to know what amenities you are getting such as having a free cable , pool, gym, a park, etc. Look for amenities like laundry facilities, gated community, and decide on the importance of covered parking as well. You should decide beforehand what amenities you would
like when you rent an apartment, that way you know the right questions to ask and it will make it
easier to mark apartments that don’t qualify off your list. Before looking at apartments I would
recommend to make a MUST have list of amenities and a Nice to have list, just to keep your
priorities and your price in the right area.

Grapevine Rental Agreements Are generally around 1 year

After you find the apartment you want to rent make sure to read the contract carefully
before you sign it. Few important things to check are how long you are locked into the lease,
the beginning and expiration date, the rental price and what is included in the rent, notice
of termination and responsibilities for repairs etc. You should obtain a copy of all rules
and regulations and go through all of the paperwork carefully before signing on the rental
agreement. Also make sure that you turn in the inventory sheet within 48 hours of moving in,
or else you could be charged for problems in the apartment that were there before you rented it.
Some apartment complexes also require that you provide proof of renter’s insurance before you move in.
Getting this right can mean saving money and head aches in the long run.

It is a fact that different people may have different requirements from renting an apartment. But
it is extremely important to have a clear understanding of what you want before starting to
search for a rental apartment. Remember to make your MUST haves and Nice to haves lists.
And try not to be in a rush and take your time to visit different complexes to find the right price
and the right community. After all you will be living there for at least a year, so it is very
important to make the right choice.
